Key Art: Dalia's Shadow

For these keyframes, I wanted to focus on a emotional feel to the frame. Watercolor dripping from the room, coloring the room in revealing yellows, heightened pinks and depressing blues.

The 1st one is a haunting moment frozen in silence. Dalia, returned as a spectre, stands atop the research table, her tiny ghostly form overlooking her wrecked parents. Her parents, still in the throes of grief, are unaware of her presence. This frame captures the moment the grief is too heavy for either of them to bear while Dalia stands still, her small frame casting a looming shadow in her wake, overwhelming the composition symbolic of the guilt wrecking her parents.

The 2nd one is a tender scene of Nadia in the dead of night, looking at a family photo. Illuminated only by warm light, the frame depicts the hope she still clings on to. The first one out of her and her husband to try piecing their lives back together, she finds peace and salvation in quiet moments like these.
