Character Concept: Kemet

Kemet is the design of an elderly seba (spectre) as he appears in the afterlife, the Duat. I wanted to explore various stages and amounts of feathers and wings on the humanoid form. Some forms are half bird, either focused on the top half or the bottom half, also in varying more of being hunched over. I settled on this almost 'yogi' like look, more hermit and sage inspired, with the bottom half being folded wings. The large wing at the top makes Kemet look large than life and powerful. The colors are more mythical with calming violets and harsh scarlet. The staff he carries is inspired by the staff carried by Thoth, the god of wisdom.

Kemet is an elderly spectre, who befriends Dalia in the realm. He is kindhearted yet stern, an ancient spectre. With remnants of feathers and wings still on his body, his ba has yet to fully integrate with his spectral form, still in search of something. He wears a treasured cat-shaped jewel given to him by his late wife, around his waist. It's a fragment of his forgotten past that he refuses to let go.
