Environment Design: Rami and Nadia's Home

This environment depicts the warmth of the Rami and Nadia's home and how safe Dalia felt in her home. Initially I explored extreme angles and Dutch angles, wide angles as well. I settled on a close-up to depict the simplicity of a small family's living room. To begin with, the color schemes were bright and otherworldly, ending on a warm light at night.

A once-vibrant family home, now frozen in grief. The open-plan features a sunken living room and an adjacent kitchen. Dalia’s toys and drawings litter the space, a reminder of her presence that neither Rami, nor Nadia seem to be willing to part with. The room feels suspended in time; untouched since her passing. Amidst the chaos, a table has been transformed into a research area where Rami and Nadia investigate the afterlife. The furniture is mismatched and thrifted, depicting a simple, happy yet improvised life.
