An isolating shot of Rami amid endless rows of corpses. The factory buzzes with machinery, but he feels emotionally numb, and powerless. The composition isolates him visually, emphasizing his internal disconnection. A simple composition, paired with a one point perspective and an analogous colour scheme.
The 2nd piece depicts 2 frames. The 1st captures Nadia’s moral conflict regarding her job. The process is fully industrialized, with no gore. Yet she views the industrial procedures as inherently violent. In her eyes, she’s complicit in something murderous. The 2nd is an eerie close up on the corpses in the factories. How despite the lack of gore, the whole process is robotic and lifeless. The disturbing face and the open eyes, depict the lack of care when it comes to dealing with once loved people.
