This modern canopic jar is often a companion to the sarcophagus, created by the same scientists and researchers for when they want to preserve human organs for various reasons. The structure is inspired by Egyptian canopic jars, traditionally depicting a god/goddess representing the body part stored. I depicted eagles on the canopic jars, in theme with the sarcophagi, inspired by the goddess, Nekhbet, protector of the pharaohs and Upper Egypt
The 1st design is that of the normal canopic jars created by the researchers in the living world. The 2nd design, is what happens to the canopic jars once a person passes fully into the Duat, the afterlife. They change texture and also emit an otherworldly glow. The 3rd design is that of a researcher created canopic jar used by humans secretly in a traditional ceremony. They have slightly altered it, letting nature run its course and decorating it with natural objects.
